Serving
Ideas .....
Serve with any hearty Soup - Bean, Lentil, Potato, Chili, Fish Chowder, etc.
or with
most any salad, especially good with Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, or Stuffed Tomato,
or most any Hot Dish, or Church Supper.
Interesting
variations:
• 1/2 cup drained Corn or
• 1/2 cup cream style Corn or
• 1/2 cup diced Jack Cheese or
• Green Chilies to taste or
• 1/4 cup diced Bacon, or
• any combination of the above.
To Make Corn Sticks:
Generously butter 12 corn stick pans and heat in oven while mixing
batter (Martha's Gourmet Corn Bread Mix).
Pour or spoon into butter hot corn stick pans.
bake @ 450° just until set.
Serve piping hot with butter.
To Make Corn Cake:
Prepare Martha's Gourmet Corn Bread Mix as directed except
add 1 Tablespoon sugar,
replace low fat milk with 1 1/2 cups buttermilk.
These are rich & delicious.
