NEW From
Monterey, CA (Swedish
Oatmeal Pancakes, No Wheat, No Sugar)
I
have to tell you that I LOVE this product. I have spent years fighting
weight
and diabetes, now I have finally found a product that I can use
for both these
issues. I have just ordered two cases to be sure I have
plenty on hand. I can't
thank you enough for producing a product that
gives me back one of my favorite breakfast foods one that I have not
been able to enjoy in many years.
Kudos to you! Kitty

I received a Valentine’s basket
from my husband and it contained your “Killer Chocolate Cake Mix”
and your “Killer Chocolate Sauce” which is delicious! We
live
in Rancho Murieta, CA and would like to know if your product is in any
stores for purchase or if I just have to order online?
Thanks for your assistance. Laurie

I went to Mabel's Just For You Cafe in Potrero Hill
in San Francisco yesterday,
and ordered the oatmeal pancakes, and fell
in love. I'm determined to learn to
make these things. www.justforyoucafe.com/
The cakes were large enough to cover an outspread
hand, just barely crisp on
the outside, with a center that was fully cooked
but still somehow almost
molten, so melty and delicious was the texture.
The inside of the pancakes
tasted almost like perfectly-cooked oatmeal,
making me wonder whether
COOKED oats might not be an ingredient. I've
been browsing oatmeal pancake
recipes online, but see that uncooked oats
are usually called for.
Has anyone else sampled these pancakes? Any ideas to help me recreate
the
recipe myself? If I can't make them, I guess I'll just be forced to
commute to
SF from Palo Alto every weekend this year....
Quick update from sender, folks -- I went back
to Mabel's and asked about
the pancakes, and they're from a mix, available
at www.marthasallnatural.com/.
Look
for the oatmeal pancake mix, sugar-free, wheat-free. I plan to order a
bunch. Still going to try out the recipe, though. New vistas in breakfast
carbs
are opening before my eyes.

A couple of years ago I bought a bag of the Chocolate
Cake and some time
later actually baked the cake. From the time
I had mixed the batter, you
could tell this was
a good recipe, because it smelled so good as it baked.
You have
packaged and marketed one of our old family favorites. I returned
to
get more, but Cost Plus was out (as so often is the case), but now I
found
it in Tower Market here in San Francisco.
